Age 99
We have just heard of the passing of John (Jack) Snowden MBE at the age of 99.
Jack was a former East District President and former SASA President. A true Stalwart of the District as President and as an STO Official. He first became a technical official in 1950 and went on to become a referee.
Until lockdown, Jack regularly attended Lothian Region Swimming Group Meetings. He was a staunch supporter of his club, Portobello, for whom he not only swam but coached as well.
Our thoughts go out to his family at this sad time.
