Sad News - Susan Macfeeters

East District Life Member

We are sad to learn of the passing of Susan Macfeeters, East District Life Member.

Susan was a stalwart of the East District for many, many years representing Warrender Baths Club and Synchro as it was known in her day. She served on the District Championships Committee for many years and attended District events as a timekeeper for many years, indeed, she was a timekeeper at the 1986 Commonwealth Games.

 

Susan was also involved in disability events for young people and was honoured with Life Membership in 2004.

 

Susan passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday 13th December. She was 95 years old.

 

Her funeral is at 1.30 pm on Wednesday 10th January at Mortonhall  Crematorium.
